Duck aquaponics is sometimes referred to as quackaponics. in this method, instead of using fish in an aquaponics system, you will raise ducks in a pond where the pond collects the animal droppings. from there, the water, now with nutrients from the droppings, will be pumped out and filtered.. So this isn’t quite aquaponics but duckaponics. see the kiddie pool or whatever else we would use to give water to the ducks would get so nasty so fast and hand to be dumped and washed every other day and was such a waste of water.. They use aquaponics to help grow vegetables which also cleans the water in the duck pond. the tube on the top right sucks water into the filtering system while filtered water, top left, returns. Ccduckponics is interested in providing a self sustained system of farming using ducks. similar to aquaponics, duckponics is a closed system, producing all organic products. consultations are available to those interested, and produce is available for restaurants and health food stores..
